Can the color-blind really see?

Still no decision on whether I want to quit the 'Bob and start on something new, but I did reset my iMini last night (thanks for the suggestion, Mom), which fixed whatever was broken and now the select button works.
Ugh. In my color-blinded eyes, Thousand Island dressing can sometimes look like Caesar. Now my salad has a sickly sweet flavor that I was not intending it to have. Isaac Newton discovered that when you pass white light through a prism, the prism actually splits the light into all it's various components, creating a rainbow effect. My eye (or perhaps my frontal lobe) can not perceive this effect in it's entirety, due to a recessive gene on my X-chromosome. I had heard once that researchers had discovered a correcting lense that could be used to give the color-blind sight. Do they have this as a consumer product yet, or am I only imagining I ever heard of this discovery?
Perhaps I should write to the Mythbusters about it.

Osiebob

Of course the decision is yours--but I think you should stick with Osibob for a year. Think of it as a good exercise in drawing/writing/creating...as well as an exercise in discipline. Wouldn't it be great to have a complete book of a year's worth of Osiebob? Then again if you have different ideas of how you want to channel your artistic creativity...go with them. But if you are on the fence...I say give Osiebob your best efforts, and then start a new project for 2006. love, pip

Re: Osiebob

Thanks for the encouragement, pip. I love doing this comic, and I've come up with a solution that satisfies me, so I think I'm going to keep working on it for a while. Thanks for keeping informed. love, peep
